5 years ago I was an elementary teacher and part time business owner. I loved teaching, but felt safest relying on someone else to tell me what to do and give me a paycheck.

I hid behind my husband in our wedding photography business because my biggest fear was that someone would find out I wasn't "born with" the ability to run a business—here's a secret: no one is!

Here's the thing with fear though: when you're running your own business, it won't be too long before you've gotta deal with your fears or you'll just keep spinning your wheels going nowhere!

For me, that time came about a year and a half ago when I realized I'd run our business into the ground out of fear. We hadn't had a booking in over 8 months. Then I lost a baby. And big business deal. And a dear friendship.

I felt like everything I touched had crumbled.

 

But despite the losses I was experiencing, I soon learned that my biggest problem was my mindset.

So I got help, rolled up my sleeves and got to work on ME. And as I did, some pretty incredible things happened. 

It wasn't long before I started experiencing massive breakthroughs. I decided it was time to really OWN my business and in a few short months, I single handedly booked our calendar full for the next year while increasing our sales average by $600/sale.

I launched two new businesses and, before I knew it, had clients lined up to work with me. I tripled my side business income in a matter of 2 months and began tracking the measures that lead to these successes.

Surely, if I could do it, others could too, right?

I started testing my methods with others and found that the successes weren't limited to me!

As we worked on mindset and value, my clients started seeing their sales averages soar by $800-2,000. And we hadn't even talked about their pricing!

I found that, even though we weren't talking about the numbers yet, when we worked on mindsets and aligning their business with their true purpose, the numbers began correcting themselves. Soon, their income began to reflect the true value of what my clients were offering. 

I want that for you. Because the reality is that, as small business owners, we all get preeeeetty scared sometimes.
